The Contra Costa County Probation Department is partnering with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to host five public drop off sites for this year’s holiday drive.

Starting Nov. 18 through Dec. 10, donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the following Probation Department locations:

All drop-off sites will accept public donations weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The offices will be closed daily from noon to 1 p.m. and for all major holidays.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation collects and distributes an average of 18 million toys to less fortunate children annually.

“This toy drive is a great opportunity to engage with residents and make a difference in children’s lives and in the community we serve,” said Chief Probation Officer Esa Ehmen-Krause.
