Officers tow away car in San Pablo linked to Bay Bridge sideshow

A vehicle towed away by law enforcement in San Pablo on Wednesday was one of 23 cars impounded throughout the Bay Area for participating in a recent sideshow, police said.

The San Pablo Police Department reported assisting the California Highway Patrol Sideshow Task Force (NoFEAR) in towing a car that was allegedly involved in a sideshow on the Bay Bridge. 

San Pablo police posted a photo of the vehicle being towed from a city property on social media. Police reiterated it illegal to participate in a sideshow and any vehicles involved can be impounded for 30 days, pursuant to California Vehicle Code 23109.2(a)(1).
