UDPATE: The RPD reports that Empress was located on 10/17 and has been reunited with her family. 

The Richmond Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old girl who was last seen in the city on Oct. 7.

Empress Watson is a black girl, about 5-1 and 100 pounds, with short black, braided hair, according to the RPD.

“She was last seen wearing blue jeans with dark blue dots, a blue T-shirt and white Nike Airforce 1s,” police said.

Her family reports online that she was last seen in the area of Kennedy High School around 12:30 p.m. Oct. 7.

Further details were not immediately available.

A community member posted on Facebook that Empress is a Junior Giants player and recent Willie Mac Award Winner.
