Set your smartphones for a Surf & Turf Boozy Brunch Sun., Aug. 20 at 11 a.m., when The Factory Bar in Richmond will celebrate its three year anniversary.
The popular bar—which rebelliously launched at the advent of the pandemic—has weathered the mightiest of economic storms to mark its big day. Good eats, live music and a worthy local cause will make the anniversary party complete.
Helping The Factory Bar celebrate that day will be BBQ pop-up Pickles N Smoke and Rich City’s own Rocky Island Oyster Co. Live musicians will also be on hand for the party, including local R&B singer/songwriter Wanda Gonzalez and music to move the mind, body and soul from Duane Patton.
The Boozy Brunch will also see The Factory Bay hosting a raffle with numerous prizes to benefit Richmond nonprofit, House of Loving Hands, which assists victims of domestic abuse with hope and safety, per its website.
Those looking to visit The Factory Bar before its anniversary party can swing by its patio this Sun., Aug. 13 from 2-7 p.m. to check out a variety of artistic creations as its first Maker’s Faire gets underway. The bar said jewelry, paintings, pottery, clothes, artisan bread and chocolates will be for sale by local artists. Check out the Richmond Standard’s story.
The Factory Bar is located at 12517 San Pablo Ave. in Richmond. For more info, call (510) 778-1079 or click here.
