Looking for a job? The West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) is hosting five summer recruitment fairs throughout June 30 to July 30. Held both in-person and virtually, the Summer Job Fairs will look to fill certificated and classified positions before the school year kicks off August 16.
Four in-person Summer Job Fairs will take place at DeJean Middle School, 3400 Macdonald Ave. in Richmond, over these dates/times: Thurs., June 30 from 3-6 p.m.; Sat., July 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sat., July 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Sat., July 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A virtual Summer Job Fair will also take place Thurs., July 7 from 3-6 p.m. Applicants should be prepared with their resumes, letters of recommendations, transcripts and “information you need to complete an application if you have not applied in advance,” per the district.

“As our students and staff are enjoying a much needed summer break, we are actively planning for a strong start to the 2022-23 school year,” said WCCUSD Superintendent Dr. Kenneth Chris Hurst in a recent Community Message, adding that the district is “looking for qualified candidates to meet the needs of our students.”
