Richmond police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman’s body was found at the corner of 24th Street and Esmond Avenue Sunday morning.
Police received calls about a body at the intersection at about 7:15 a.m. The person, described as a black woman in her 40s, had suffered from unknown injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The death is being viewed as suspicious and say the timeline for the crime scene occurred between 5 a.m. to 7:15 am.
