NIAD Art Center, a Richmond-based studio for adult artists with developmental disabilities, will usher in the New Year with its first in-person opening reception “Relics for the Future” on Sat., Jan. 8 from 1-4 p.m.
NIAD will host the opening reception at its studio space at 551 23rd St. in Richmond and attendees will be asked to provide proof of vaccination.
The art exhibition will feature both community and NIAD artists and will be curated by Jessica Snow, according to the center’s Facebook page. The lineup of exhibiting artists will include: Hacer Acma (NIAD); Jeremy Burleson (NIAD); Sylvia Fragoso (NIAD); Bernadette Jiyong Frank; Nick Makanna; Carlota Rodriguez (NIAD); Piper Snow; Kate Temple; Victoria Wagner (NIAD); Julian Watts; and Susan Wise (NIAD).
