Volunteers with Safe Organized Spaces Richmond (SOS! Richmond), a community organization working to address the problems of homelessness in collaboration with public, private and nonprofit partners, have announced they will host a flea market fundraiser in El Sobrante on Nov. 6-7.
SOS Volunteers Rebecca Feder and Griffith Hulsey are hosting the market at the Moose Lodge, 4660 Appian Way, both weekend days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Proceeds will help buy tents and blankets for unsheltered West County residents,” according to a post about the event on Facebook. “The market will feature 15 vendors selling antiques, handmade arts, jewelry, clothing, tools, books, toys, baked goods, snow cones, & more. To donate salable items or to reserve a vendor space, call Rebecca at (510) 243-0163.”
