Bridge Commissary Kitchen is serving up some foodie love for essential workers via a special offer just for them every Friday through the end of 2020.
During “Essential Worker Appreciation Fridays” from 2-6 p.m. at Bridge, essential workers can receive a free appetizer and soft drink, as well as a beer sample from Richmond-based Origin Brewer.
“We’re trying to show them in a tangible way how much we appreciate and thank them,” said Bridge Commissary Kitchen Manager Phillip Mitchell about the offer.
Soulfully Dope Kitchen will serve its Creole cuisine while M6 Food and Catering will bring its soul food delectables to the table, for anyone who wants to purchase a full meal. Prices range from $10 to $30.
Adding to the fun Friday atmosphere will be Steven Green and the Lifeline Band, which will perform their music live. Essential workers and other customers can stay and enjoy their culinary treats on Bridge’s grounds, which offer a variety of places to sit amid art and eclectic gardens.
Bridge Commissary Kitchen is located at Bridge Storage and ArtSpace, 23 Maine Ave. in Richmond. For more info, contact Phillip Mitchell at (510) 233-3348 or [email protected]. Learn more about Bridge Commissary Kitchen here.
