A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak Capitol Corridor train just north of Richmond Tuesday morning, according to Amtrak and Union Pacific.
The man was trespassing on the rail tracks when he was struck by Train 520 at about 6 a.m., officials said. No injuries to people onboard the train have been reported. No further information was immediately available.
