Richmond pastor convicted for sexual assault of child congregant

A man was injured in a shooting in Richmond early today, police said.

Police responded to the intersection of 24th Street and Humphrey Avenue after a Shotspotter gun detection activation at about 2:40 a.m. and located bullet casings on the roadway, but no victims, Richmond police Capt. Al Walle reported.

A few minutes later, a man arrived at a local hospital stating he was shot near Wendell Park, Walle said.

The victim was uncooperative with authorities and was admitted to the hospital in stable condition, Walle said.
