Richmond police say a woman has been fraudulently listing rental properties in the city and stealing rental deposits.
The woman has listed properties at 320 32nd St. and 5314 Bayview Ave. for rent, when they are not available.
“Once a deposit was made, the renter was given a move in date,” police said. “Unfortunately, the new renter later learned that the home was not available to rent and the person that received the deposit was unable to be located.”
