A man was killed and another man injured in a shooting in Richmond Tuesday night, police said.
The incident happened just before 11 p.m. in the 2500 block of Andrade Avenue, between 24th and 26th streets. Officers responded to the area following a ShotSpotter gun detection system activation, Richmond police Capt. Al Walle said.
Officers found the two victims, one of whom was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity was not yet being released by authorities as of early Wednesday afternoon. The other man was transported to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
