Richmond police: Woman harms self over breakup with ex

A man was injured, but thankfully his 11-year-old daughter wasn’t, when a driver doing donuts in his car in Richmond collided into their vehicle Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded to the accident scene at Erla Way and Groom Drive about 3:15 p.m., Richmond police Capt. Al Walle said. The suspect was arrested on the charge of reckless driving with injuries, he said.

The man who was injured in the crash was transported to a local hospital, Walle added.
