One killed, another injured in Richmond shooting

One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting in Richmond’s Iron Triangle neighborhood Saturday afternoon, police said.

The shooting was reported at 1170 Hensley St. at 4:06 p.m., Richmond police Lt. Matt Stonebraker told Bay City News. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where one was pronounced dead. The other is expected to survive. Further details, including the identities of the victims or motives for the shooting, were not immediately known.

The incident occurred near the Union Pacific tracks and caused several hours of train delays in both directions as a result.
