In the wake of numerous complaints about reckless driving and speeding in Marina Bay, Richmond police conducted a traffic operation in the neighborhood Wednesday night.

The operation “aimed to educate residents in Marina Bay about vehicle/pedestrian safety” and included more  warnings than citations to drivers, police said.

“If you saw us out there, we hope that you will remember to slow down, watch for pedestrians and remember, the speed limit there is 25 MPH,” police said.
