The Energizer Richmond program, a partnership with MCE, is allowing multi-family property owners to make building and energy efficiency improvements, including a free analysis of how they can save energy and money making those improvements.

The program features MCE incentives that typically cover 20-percent to 60-percent of project costs “for scopes that include LED lighting (interior/exterior), domestic hot water, heating, and other gas and electric end use equipment,” according to MCE.

Additional City of Richmond incentives in energy efficiency will help cover out of pocket costs up to $25,000 for market rate properties or $35,000 for affordable properties.

As stated, MCE will provide a customized analysis of properties at no cost or obligation.
