Three people were injured in connection with two shootings at the St. John’s Apartments on West Macdonald Avenue last weekend, police said.
The first shooting occurred about 1:20 a.m. Saturday, when police responded to a ShotSpotter gunshot detection activation in the 100 block of West Macdonald Ave. and found a woman injured from gunshot wounds. She is in stable condition, police said. No suspects are in custody.
On Sunday just before 8 p.m., police responded to another ShotSpotter activation on the same block and found two wounded men, both in stable condition, police said. No suspects are in custody with that shooting, either.
Both incidents are possibly gang-related, according to police.
“Our detectives from homicide, robbery and gangs are investigating them as we speak,” Richmond police Lt. Felix Tan said.
