The innovative Construction Resource Center in Richmond, which is working to prepare local residents, contractors and construction companies for future economic development projects in the region, is encouraging local professionals to enter its 10-week Project Management Course.
The course, which provides tools and techniques for leading a project to successful completion, runs from 6-9 p.m. nightly from Aug. 28 to Oct. 30. Classes will be held at 360 S. 27th St. in Richmond.
The skills taught in the course help local professionals increase their earning potential.

In December, the Construction Resource Center was celebrated in a groundbreaking at 360 S. 27th St., in a space shared with RichmondBUILD.
CRC is funded as a project of eQuip Richmond, Chevron’s $10 million economic revitalization initiative. It is a partnership with Turner Group Construction, RichmondBUILD and The Stride Center that provides existing small contractors and people who want to start a contracting business with extended technical training to build sustainable contracting businesses.
