The annual giveaway runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time while supplies last at participating stores. There are three 7-Eleven stores in Richmond, and another in San Pablo and Pinole.
Also, 7-Eleven is debuting the Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Slurpee on Wednesday.
The company reportedly plans to give away about nine million free Slurpee drinks as part of the promotion.
“Free Slurpee day may be the most anticipated day of the year for millions of 7-Eleven customers and new customers alike,” said Raj Kapoor, senior vice president for fresh food and beverages at 7-Eleven, said in a statement.
