A person fatally struck by a Capitol Corridor train Tuesday afternoon in Richmond has been identified as 64-year-old Michael Douglas Moberly of San Francisco, according to the Contra Costa County coroner’s office.
Moberly was struck about 3:10 p.m. on tracks along Carlson Boulevard at Pullman Avenue, an area without a designated pedestrian crossing. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
None of the 21 passengers on the train at the time was injured.
