Spurned suspect pulls knife on female victims at Richmond BART station

A male suspect who allegedly waved a knife at four female victims and threatened to hurt them at BART’s Richmond station late Saturday night was arrested in San Francisco, police said.

The incident unfolded about 10 minutes before midnight, when the suspect made sexual advances toward the victims on the station platform. When he was turned down, he threatened them with the knife, according to police.

He was later found at BART’s Embarcadero station and arrested on suspicion of brandishing a knife and making criminal threats. No one was injured.

  1. Richmond has needed special security at bart for 30 years. Its a great place to get mugged by a sociopath. Egalitarian liberal dems persist in a pie-in-the-sky attitude towards Richmond bart, as if all stations are like this, that Richmond is no different. Scary thing is, they are probably right..
