Richmond event joins worldwide protest of conditions at U.S. southern border

Starting Monday, Aug. 7, the Richmond City Clerk’s Office will begin accepting passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.

That means U.S. citizens planning to travel internationally can apply for their passport at 450 Civic Center Plaza, Suite 300, during the following hours by appointment only:

Monday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday:  10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

(Closed noon to 1:00 p.m.)

No drop in service for same day appointments or scheduling future appointments is available. Anyone who wants a passport must call (510) 620-6786 to schedule any and all appointments.
