As promised, Richmond-based East Brother Beer Co. is set to release the Resilience IPA on Thursday, Dec. 20, and will donate all money from its sales to the Camp Fire relief efforts.
As we reported about two weeks ago, East Brother Beer is one of more than 1,000 breweries around the world brewing the IPA to fuel the relief effort.
Chico-based Sierra Nevada created Resilience IPA to benefit the Camp Fire Relief Fund. The company then publicly released its recipe for the IPA and asked all U.S. brewers to brew Resilience for the fire relief effort.
Among the many breweries answering the call was East Brother Beer Co. It will be serving the IPA for the first time on Thursday, Dec. 20 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its taproom at 1001 Canal Blvd. Also serving that evening will be the food truck La Santa Torta.
“Proud to be supporting our neighbors to the north as they rebuild their community,” the folks at East Brother Beer Co. stated in its Facebook invite. “Much love to Sierra Nevada for putting this together.”
