The fall session of classes at the Richmond Art Center start this week, and there is truly an arts or crafts class for just about everyone.

Classes are offered in jewelry making, painting (in watercolors, oils, acrylics and even hot wax), metalwork, sculpture (people or things), pottery, weaving and knitting, drawing, printing – and if that list leaves anything out, Richmond Art Center probably has it too.

The Richmond Art Center welcomes all levels of artists, from beginners to experienced artists and everyone in between. Classes are also offered at a range of times – morning, afternoon and evening classes – all days of the week.

And, while the classes are open to everyone, if you live in Richmond, there is a special discount for you (also for first-time students and Richmond Art Center members).

To look over the full list of classes or to register, you can go online or call the Center at 510-620-6772 (Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).  The Richmond Art Center is at 2540 Barrett Ave.
