The San Pablo Historical Society is encouraging volunteers in the community to assist an all-volunteer staff keep the Alvarado Adobe, the Blume House and the Bunk House open to the public.
“We can use volunteers with any background or skills,” said Janet Pottier, who volunteers on the San Pablo Historical Society’s board of directors. “We need people who can help keep the Museums dusted and vacuumed, to those who can file, to those who can update our exhibits and brochures, to those willing to conduct tours for the general public or school children.”
The greatest need is for volunteers who are bilingual in English and Spanish and someone with computer skills, Pottier said.
For those interested, the Historical Society can be contacted by email at sanpablomuseums@gmail.com, or by phone at (510) 215-0000.
Students can volunteer with VolunteerMatch or Sanpabloca offifical governmental support. Even temporary foreign workers may take courses and then become part-time or full-time volunteers at San Pablo museums. https://writemyessaysonline.com
