Spinning your wheels isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, the RYSE Center will be teaming up later this month with CycleBar Berkeley for some indoor ‘stationary’ cycling to raise money for the Richmond nonprofit.
Hosted at CycleBar’s storefront at 1929 University Avenue, Berkeley, CA, on Sunday, July 30, the event will run from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and include a 50-minute cycling class followed by a patio brunch complete with mimosas. Ticket prices range from $30 to $100, and shoes, towels and water bottles will be provided for the cycling segment of the afternoon.
The RYSE youth center serves youth ages 13 – 21 and aims to foster ‘safe spaces’ for local youth, as well as offering various program ranging on everything from health and well-being to arts and culture.
