The city invites local high school students to the 64th Annual Snow Ball winter formal on Dec. 3, and has warned of a “strictly enforced” dress code.

Snow Ball will run from 7 p.m. till midnight at Richmond Memorial Auditorium, 403 Civic Center Plaza, and costs $30 per student. No entry will be allowed after 9 p.m.

Students of all grades from Richmond, Kennedy, De Anza, Hercules, Pinole Valley, El Cerrito, Sylvester Greenwood Academy, Leadership, Vista and Middle College high schools are invited.

The city has emphasized its dress code (see full list below) that prohibits hats, caps, curlers, tennis shoes, house slippers, see-through garments, perfume and cologne.

“Formal dress code will be enforced throughout the event,” the city said.

Students are expected to dress formally, with examples of appropriate attire including ball gowns, tuxedos and suits.
