Richmond’s renowned artisan coffee roaster, Catahoula Coffee Co., announced Thursday it will hold a Customer Appreciation Day on June 22 in order to thank the local community for their continued support.
The event, slated to be held at the coffee shop’s only location at 12472 San Pablo Ave., will not only include free coffee and food, but also a host of rather interesting activities. They include a “car meet,” where folks come show off their slick rides, a petting zoo “for the kiddos,” and music.
The appreciation day will take place on a Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Catahoula Coffee opened in 2008. Earlier this year, a barista told the Richmond Standard how much the business loves the community in and around Richmond.
Owner Timber Manhart announced Customer Appreciation Day on Facebook:
Earlier this year, Catahoula Coffee was rated the Bay Area’s best coffee shop in an online poll. It was one of more than 100 shops considered in the Bay Area A-List’s Best of 2014 rankings. Catahoula also won this category in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
