Early this morning, San Pablo police drones helped Bay law enforcement agencies capture a suspect in San Pablo who was wanted in connection with a shooting in Oakland. The incident occurred as law enforcement agencies served a high-risk arrest warrant.
In footage captured by the drones, the suspect is seen climbing out of a second-story window as officers make entry into the home. Drones also recorded the suspect climbing over a fence into an adjacent yard, where he attempted to hide in a trash can.
The pilots manning the drones led officers to the hiding spot, and the suspect was arrested without further incident, police said.
