The San Pablo Police Department on Friday released surveillance video from a drive-by shooting on San Pablo Dam Road on July 1 hoping the public will help identify and locate the vehicle and suspects involved.
In the video, the suspect vehicle with multiple occupants can be seen driving up to another vehicle in the 3500 Block of San Pablo Dam Road. Shots are fired from the suspect vehicle, striking the driver, who sustained serious injuries but survived, police said.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a late-model Honda Crosstour, police said.
“Detectives are still attempting to identify the suspect vehicle ad involved parties,” police said, adding they have no information on motive, including whether the shooting was gang related.
