Contra Costa College will hold a career education open house on Tuesday, August 21.
The event will be held at the school at 2600 Mission Bell Drive from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. To learn more and register, visit cenight18.eventbrite.com. Pizza, child care and Spanish-language interpreters will be available.
Attendees will be introduced to programs that provide hands-on training in job-specific skills applicable to a wide range of careers — administration of justice, business, business office technology, certified nursing assistant, nursing, computer information system, culinary arts management, digital film production, emergency medical technician, warehouse operations, health and human services, journalism, public health science and real estate.
Instructors, graduates and industry professionals will be there to provide information about the various programs and related careers. There will also be demonstrations of some of the school’s industry-standard equipment.
