The Richmond Police Department is investigating a suspected murder-suicide discovered Friday morning in the 5600 block of Clinton Avenue.
Officers arrived at the residence shortly before 10 a.m. for a welfare check after a family member reported receiving an email from the resident expressing an intent to self-harm. Upon entering the home, authorities located two deceased individuals.
Investigators believe the incident is isolated and presents no ongoing threat to public safety.
Identifying information for the deceased has not been released while detectives continue to gather evidence.
