A special Earth Day art exhibit at the Pinole Senior Center features photography captured by talented students at Pinole Valley High School.
The students brightened a hallway at the center at 2500 Charles Ave., ushering in Spring, with photographs of flowers.
The community is invited to stop by and enjoy the artworks, which will be on display now through April 30.
We we recently reported, the city is also hosting the Pinole Community Earth Walk where it is calling for the entire community, including students and teachers, local businesses, faith organizations, first responders and neighbors, to take a stand for a healthier planet. The walk will take place Saturday, April 28, from 9-11:30 a.m. at Fernandez Park. Environmental partners will be on-site with activities and educational resources to inspire and empower action.
