The City of San Pablo is continuing the San Pablo Scholarship Pilot Program for 2026, offering $1,000 in financial support to residents ages 24 and under who want to pursue post-high school education and career technical training.
The scholarship empowers San Pablo youth with the resources they need to succeed in higher education and vocational training. This year marks the pilot program’s fourth year of collaboration between the city and the San Pablo Economic Development Corporation. The application deadline is Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 5 p.m.
The Scholarship Pilot Program supports students who are residents within San Pablo city borders. Its overriding aim is to ease the financial burden of education and career training, while also providing financial empowerment classes, paid credit union membership, food security resources and coaching/networking opportunities.
Leslay Choy, executive director of the San Pablo EDC, said that a collaborative team will support youth pursuing their career ambitions and breaking through barriers to opportunity.
“We’ll help you do it with financial savvy so that you start a career with no-to-low debt and keep more of your earnings working for you,” Choy said.
