Pinole has launched Art in City Hall, a new program that brings local artwork to the first floor of City Hall.
Hosted by the city in partnership with the organization Pinole Artisans, the program displays rotating exhibitions of original artwork by artists who live in or have strong ties to Pinole.
Exhibits are presented in two gallery spaces within City Hall: one in the atrium near the front entrance and one along the hallway by the Council Chamber.
The first group of framed pieces is now on display and will stay up for about 2–3 months before being refreshed with new work. Residents and visitors are encouraged to stop by and enjoy the rotating exhibition during regular City Hall hours.
Also, interested artists can submit their original work for consideration according to the program’s guidelines.
City leaders and organizers thanked the Pinole Artisans for kicking off the program with inspiring artwork that reflects local pride and creativity.
