Pinole City Manager to leave role after 15 months

Pinole City Manager to depart for new career opportunity

After just 15 months in office, Kelcey Young will step down as City Manager of Pinole. The city announced today that Young, who began in August 2024, will leave on Nov. 28, 2025 to pursue other career opportunities.

The city extended its thanks to Young for her efforts and service and wished her the “greatest success in her future endeavors.” Officials say more information will be provided soon on plans to appoint an interim city mdanager and to launch a nationwide recruitment for a permanent replacement.
