El Cerrito High School hosted the United States Air Force Band on Saturday, April 5, performing before a crowd of over 850 people, according to the West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD).
“El Cerrito students—Nigel, PJ, Evan, Kenji, Oliver, Otis, Linden, Charlie, and Willow—took the stage with the band for a memorable set of songs,” the district stated.
The United States Air Force Band Concert Band and Singing Sergeants were in the midst of its Spring Tour across Utah, Nevada and California.
“Throughout this journey, we’ve been honored to perform for thousands of Americans, each concert a chance to connect through music and share the story of your United States Air Force,” Band officials stated on social media. “Thank you for welcoming us with open arms, from the desert valleys to the coastal cities. It’s been a privilege to share this music with you.”
A person who claimed to attend the El Cerrito performance commented, “the musicians and singers were amazing! A wonderful concert!!”
