The East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) hires about 300 seasonal positions every year in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, including young people ages 15-24 for summer work.

That said, the District is hosting a 2023 Virtual Youth Job Fair on Saturday, Feb. 11, with the ultimate aim of filling both paid seasonal and yearround positions.

The virtual hiring fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and can be accessed via Zoom. Registration is required – save your spot via this Zoom Registration link. Participants are encouraged to have their cameras on and to dress as if they were attending a job fair in person.

Positions include Interpretive Student Aides, Public Safety Student Aides, Recreation Leaders, Lifeguards, Gate Attendants and Student Laborers.

“There are some really phenomenal opportunities for young people to gain professional experience and pathways to careers in the Park District,” said Chief of Workforce Development Janelle Rodrigues. “We encourage youth and students in our community to apply and explore all that the Park District has to offer.”

The East Bay Regional Park District comprises 125,000 acres in 73 parks in Alameda and Contra Costa counties including over 1,250 miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and nature learning.
