San Francisco Bay Ferry is rolling out “Dollar Days on the Bay” during the month of November in an effort to not only thank essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also to welcome new riders.
By downloading and using the Hopthru app, riders can get $1 tickets through the end of the month, including for Richmond.
“The ferry offers a pleasant, fresh air trip across the bay and has critical health measures in effect to protect passengers and crews. Masks are required on board at all times and capacity is limited to ensure proper social distancing,” stated the San Francisco Bay Ferry service on its website.
The ferry service is currently operating a one-boat schedule between Richmond and San Francisco on weekdays.
