The City of San Pablo is encouraging residents to participated in a park renovation project for the park at 2600 Moraga Road, also known as the El Portal Soccer Fields.
The city is pursuing grant funds from the voter-approved Proposition 68, which funds local park rehabilitation, creation and improvement to fund the park’s renovation. The city will apply for the grant funding in the summer and fall of this year, but has begun the public outreach process.
“We want your opinion about what features should be a part of this park,” the city said.
Residents are invited to meetings this Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to noon and Tuesday, May 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the San Pablo Community Center (2450 Road 20).
