Looking for support with your job search? Then don’t miss the Removing Barriers Job Readiness Boot Camp orientation on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. at the San Pablo EDC, located at 13830 San Pablo Avenue, Suite D (at the corner of San Pablo Ave and Church Lane).
This 30-minute orientation will provide full details on curriculum, speakers, and expectations, plus the bonus programs attached, such as a free personal styling appointment with interview outfits. The San Pablo EDC will answer any questions about the Boot Camp or its other programs.
The Boot Camp is a four-day program offered at no cost by the San Pablo EDC from Monday, Feb. 10 through Thursday, Feb. 13. Breakfast is provided each day, along with networking and other supports. Workshops begin promptly at 9 a.m. and run until 4:30 p.m. each day.
The intent is to build networks while building hard and essential skills, so there will be regular speakers who make excellent informational interview contacts, a career training resource fair, and mock interviews to build professional contacts for participants.
All interactive sessions are designed to prepare participants for a successful job search and key job retention skills. Financial basics to help you make the most of your new income are also included.
