A vacant gas station site at Cutting Boulevard and Harbour Way South is set to reopen and will include a 7-Eleven store.
On Nov. 17, the Richmond Planning Commission approved conditional use and design review permits for a 7-Eleven and fueling station at 925 Cutting Blvd.
The store will fill an empty lot but will add a third gas station to an intersection that is near the Interstate 580 on-ramps. The intersection is near Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
Public members opposed to the project have until 5 p.m. today to appeal its permits.
Correction: This story has been updated to reflect the correct intersection near this project as Cutting Boulevard and Harbour Way S.
