Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, Jr. is scheduled to speak at a free breakfast and event tomorrow at Craneway Pavilion.
The special event, sponsored by the nonprofit For Richmond in celebration of Black History Month, will begin with a breakfast followed by insights from Brown on community and leadership responsibility in Richmond.
Brown began his career in the California State Assembly where he was one of the longest-serving Speakers in California history. Brown then became a two-term Mayor of San Francisco. Now a civic leader in the Bay Area, Brown is dedicated to helping young people from diverse backgrounds recognize their leadership potential through the Willie Brown Institute.
The event is free and open to the public. Interested participants must RSVP by calling For Richmond, 510-260-0290. To read more about Brown’s visit to Richmond, click here.
