Richmond has a budget deficit of about $4 million – but not for long, Richmond City Manager Bill Lindsay said at Tuesday night’s Council meeting.

“We’re coming up with recommendations and hopefully by this time next week it will be down to zero,” City Manager Bill Lindsay said. “We are going to make some recommended budget adjustments.”

Lindsay did not elaborate on the deficit reduction plan.

The city manager’s statement was in response to a deficit question posed by Councilman Corky Booze.
