An El Sobrante man was arrested in connection with a non-injury shooting that occurred after a feud in a parking lot of a Pinole bar on Friday, police said.

The incident occurred about 8:50 p.m. when officers responded to calls of a shooting at Antlers Bar, 2284 San Pablo Ave.

Several people were seen running from the scene when police arrived, prompting officers to set up a perimeter with assistance from Hercules police and air support from the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff, according to police.

Officers eventually found a suspect matching the description of the shooter and located a firearm in close proximity to him.

Alexander Ruben Escobar-Fuentes, 26, was arrested on suspicion of pulling out a handgun and firing several rounds following a brief argument in the bar’s parking lot, police said.

While there were no injuries, several vehicles were hit with bullets, police said.

Escobar-Fuentes was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility on charges including malicious and willful discharge a firearm; brandishing a firearm; carrying a loaded firearm; being a felon in possession of a firearm; and being a felon in possession of ammunition.

The case is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Pinole Police Department (510)724-8950.
