The Richmond Promise College Scholarship program is hiring 10 College Summer Associates through Americorps VISTA.
The paid interns will develop their leadership, teamwork and project management skills by, in part, supporting the successful college transition for Richmond students benefiting from the Richmond Promise program, which provides $1,500 annually in scholarships to attend a college or university or career technical education program, as well as invaluable guidance toward those efforts.

The Richmond Promise was launched thanks to a $35 million contribution from a $90 million community benefits agreement between the city and Chevron tied to the Richmond Refinery’s ongoing Modernization Project.
