Spring egg hunts set for Richmond and San Pablo on Saturday, March 24


Families are invited to two egg hunt events on Saturday, March 24, held separately in Richmond and San Pablo.

The Richmond event — the annual Spring Egg Hunt and Recreation Information Day — will begin with a parade at 9:30 a.m. from Civic Center to Nicholl Park, followed by an egg hunt at 10 a.m. at Nicholl Park (or in the nearby Richmond Recreation Complex in the event of rain). The festivities last until noon.

In San Pablo, the community is invited to Davis Park from 10 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. for and egg hunt, to meet the spring bunny and to make crafts. This free event is open to youth ages 12 and under and will be held rain or shine. The hunts will be divided into age groups and will follow this schedule: 0-2 year olds at 10:15 a.m.; 3-5 year olds at 10:30 a.m.; 6-8 year olds at 10:45 a.m. and 9 -12 year olds at 11 a.m.
