A proposal to construct a four-story building consisting of four residential artist loft studios and ground-floor retail in Point Richmond is set to be discussed at the City of Richmond’s Historic Preservation Commission tonight.
Applicant Anthony Murphy, representing owner Hidden City Development LLC, aims to build the project in a vacant lot at the northwest corner of Tewksbury and Washington avenues.
The project must be reviewed by the Historic Preservation Commission since it is located within the Point Richmond Historic District, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 5 p.m. in the Richmond Room in the 1st floor of the City Hall Building at 450 Civic Center Plaza in Richmond. See the agenda here.
