Two women shot in Richmond Thursday night

San Pablo man killed while working in Walnut Creek; coworker arrested

Two women were shot and injured in Richmond Thursday night, police said.

The shooting occurred about 8:35 p.m. in the 700 block of 9th Street, Richmond police Lt. Felix Tan said.

The victims were brought to the hospital. One has been released, while the other is listed in serious but stable condition, Tan said.

No suspects are in custody. An SUV containing at least two males was seen fleeing the scene after the shooting, Tan said.

  1. These are the people who drag the whole city of Richmond down with their disgusting lifestyle of violence, misogyny, and lack of respect for the law.
    When caught for these atrocious acts they should be banned from ever living in Richmond again.
    Richmond has served enough time as the regional dumping grounds for all these violent criminals. Time for other communities to share the burden.
    Ban the convicted criminal element and allow the good law abiding people in town to live their lives in peace.

  2. Yes well I imagine ones aim is not so accurate when shooting “gangster style” which no doubt, was to these ladies good fortune in surviving this barbaric attack.

  3. there was atleast two and what sounded like 3 different weapons. But wow, 2 magazines and they both suvived. Terrible aim but i’m glad to hear they made it. Sounded bad
